Economy Still in Expansion but Drops to its Lowest February Index Since 2010.

• PMI Composite in February 2016 improved by 1.23 index points from January (which index was the lowest January index ever recorded since 2010) as it typically did in the previous five years.
• The PMI Composite index, at 54.0, is the lowest February index ever recorded since PMI Compos-ite started in October 2010. PMI Services did not pick up as fast as it did in prior tracking periods and was not able to pull up the composite aver-age for February 2016.
